Here's some revision for Chem
Diethyl ether is extremely volatile, but optimism trumps it by a mile...
Yup, it's that time of the year again... The mugging season; the seasoned mugging. Can anyone feel the heat generated from intense competition? I certainly can, and it's causing any morsel of hope I have in reserve to vapourize into thin air...
But is the situation really that bleak? There are, after all, other aspects of life to engage ourselves in. Of course, it is paramount that we do our best to secure a good record as a springboard to further destinations. This can be done through academic excellence, CCA acheivement or other committments; top marks for exhibiting these qualities, people!
However, we really don't have to put our foot on the gas all the time; we can, and should, occasionally rest our laurels to catch up with family, relationships and our hobbies. What ultimately determines the success of one's life isn't the acheivement of awards or recognition by society, but the degree of happiness and joy experienced, which has eluded so many of us in our pursuit for 'greater heights' (thus rendering the author such a failure :( ). Be happy in the face of the upcoming obstacles, and blast them all down with radiance. Lower the bar of ambition, albeit ever-so-slightly. You will enjoy life at a much more relaxed pace that way.
Or will you?
Cheers to optimism and the 21st century! Cheers to equilibria, John Nash and his theory!
